It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jordan's beloved Eleanor. She had a very short life and was with us less then 2 weeks.Eleanor was surrounded by family (except for the boy who was watching cartoons) at the time of her unexpected passing, and Jordan took this loss very hard. Eleanor enjoyed riding around the house on Jordan's shoulder, and I think they were building a life long bond.
Her loving brother offered his sister some comforting words at this time of sorrow. During a commercial he turned to her and with his 7-years of wisdom said:
"Just Go Get Another"
The pet store we purchased Eleanor from informed us that at the time we purchased Eleanor, their rats had a respiratory infection.
Funeral services will be private and in the spring when the ground thaws out a bit.
